    --- My 10 tips to a healthier you :


1. Water, water, water: say bye to your sodas and calorie-infused drinks and swap them for water with your meals. This is a healthy habit that everyone will benefit from. Try sparkling water with lemons for a refreshing twist .
2. Prep your food on Sundays: do you know what makes fast food so tempting? It’s fast… and cheap… and good… but with a little preparation you can have a healthy little fast food joint goin’ on in your kitchen.
Examples: me and my mom many times make burgers , sandwiches , momos , noodles pasta and many more things . This will help you in improving your cooking skills because you never know when you need them . And what is a better day than Sunday .. Sunday-Funday . 
3. Morning exercise: that’s right, dance… there’s literally no excuse not to do this one. Get into a habit of 5-10 min of dancing when you open your eyes… When that alarm goes off on your phone , turn on your fav Spotify playlist and dedicate just a few minutes to some toning. It’s so effortless you can do it with your eyes closed. Even if you are not that good at it , just do it . I know some of you will say that there are your parents , your siblings , in front of whom you will not feel very comfortable but take them with you , ask them to do it with you . If you are a parent shy kind of a person , you can just turn on the music in your room and just do  it , single or with your siblings . What matters is that you are moving those muscles . And people who go to gym , they can too do it , it's just a fun act to energize your mornings . 
4. Make your coffee healthier: Like your coffee sweet? Switch from sugar to honey . Flavored? Add a sprinkle of cinnamon... it gives it a naturally yummy flavor AND helps regulate blood sugar levels. I know coffee is pretty personal and most people are set on their ways, with a don’t talk about my coffee mentality…. But if you make these transitions you’ll enjoy it just as much in no time, promise. Not just coffee , any drink you take in the mornings or anytime , just make it healthy . I am totally against dieting because food gives you energy and if you are not eating , your energy levels will go low . So just keep eating healthy food , do not avoid eating it , just make some right amendments in it .
5. Spend 5 minutes a day to meditate: close your eyes, relax, focus on your breathing and allow yourself to be absorbed in the present moment… finish with a positive thought and you just made your day 10x better.
6. Switch from chemically loaded body products to an organic coconut oil: coconut oil is my favorite thing in the world and it is hands down the best moisturizer I’ve ever had. It’s the only “product” I use on my face at night as well and it’s alllll natural… plus you will smell nice too and your skin will glow . 
7. Put your body to work when watching TV: I watch tv , a lot but nowadays whenever I'm sitting on my couch because it’s a precious time to be productive as well i lay on the floor with a mat to stretch mymy muscl and sometimes do some yoga on my bed while enjoying my show. There are many yoga postures that you can do easily ,like Vajrasana . It helps in digestion and must be done after the dinner . It doesn’t have to be the entire time, even 10-15 minutes is better than nothing.
8. Give phone some rest : The most important one thing we  all forget to do is to keep our smartphones aside for sometime . I get it that lifestyle has changed and many people do work through their phones and yeah, we need them to pass our time but have you ever thought that when these small gadgets were not invented or were out of reach for us , what did we do then? Nowadays , a small little 2-3 year old kid knows how to opersop that smartphone . I don't even remember what was I doing back then when I was 2-3 year old ..lol . I started doing this for about a week . I lessened my use . My activity status on Insta got from an average of 1 hr 54 minutes per day to 27 minutes a day . That was huge for me . And yeah , most of all in that time I made time to write this blog . So I'm quite sure that you all will get some unfinished work done by keeping your phone's aside .
9. Reading news : This is a very serious issue in our generation because we never give enough time to the general knowledge and news . We just know that bit of current affair that pops up in our Insta feed or sometimes we mistakenly open Google and scroll down to see the news . I get really irritated with myself too when my mom says that this happened and that happened . We all have our back up excuses if we get caught that we don't know anything that is going on . For example - I don't have spare time to read it , where is it going to be used in future , of what use it is for and mostly used : I'll do it when I'm free of my studies and my worries . Why can't we cut out that Instagram , snapchat time by reading some newspaper or using Google news . Don't depend on others for your knowledge . I am sure you'll thank me later . Because one day your knowledge will make you inferior or superior , depends on what you are after .
10. Music : I think the most important thing in life is to be calm and what we say to have a thanda dimag .. music makes me to calm down my anger , irritation , my worries . Trust me guys it really helps to zone out from this fast running life . Whatever is your type , just go on , turn on the music , put on your headphones and just go on a trip with yourself . We all are really afraid to be alone , left alone to be more specific . Because whenever we are alone , we start overthinking and let tension get over us . Start by simply giving some attention to yourself and you'll not need anyone else's .

Of course cardio and all that is important, but this post is all about the little things we do every day that accumulate over time. Make sure your daily routine & habits are benefiting you in some way, and I promise your future self will thank you.
